In this section you will find standards and performance elements that serve as a framework to design curriculum and project based learning in an experiential classroom or learning lab environment. The use of such research and teaching strategies promotes higher level learning in the classroom and improved performance on job training sites. The Marketing Common Career Technical Core standards are aligned with academic crosswalks in the business career pathway. Students must achieve mastery level proficiency to be prepared for independent, competitive employment, which is the ultimate goal for students during their training at KTC. The nature of the relationship to the Asia Society performance outcomes is complementary. As students who master the Asia Society’s global competencies in ELA and math would be expected to significantly increase mastery of Common Core State Standards for ELA and Math and the Asia Society performance outcomes for ELA and Math.
